The run is held in celebration of Uganda’s tourism industry with a key spotlight on Murchison Falls National Park, a protected area named after the mighty centerpiece that is Murchison Falls, the most powerful point on the world’s longest river, the Nile.

This fun-packed corporate and family event seeks to draw people from all walks of life towards the knowledge of the unique importance of Uganda’s tourism sector with the 2020 edition highlighting the Murchison Waterfalls, located inside Uganda’s most visited national park.

Proceeds from the run will go towards "Creating alternative sustainable revenue sources for vulnerable communities living around Murchison Falls National Park"
