ABOUT

“Python and the Qunube Tree” an African folktale presented by Vincent Meyburgh of Jungle Theatre Company. When a terrible drought leaves all the animals in the forests of Swaziland on the brink of starvation, Python’s Qunube tree is the only food that survives. Surprisingly, a funny little creature with a special talent tries to break the cycle of the drought and

free the Qunube berries. This story is told in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa with hilarious characterizations, wild drumming and profound audience inter-action. It's a family show about sharing, perseverance, trust, and that we all have talents that are waiting to be discovered.
