Commis Chef Sino's fees!

Hi Team!

Commis Chef Sino is a 19 year old student in South Africa following her passion, talent, and dream to become a chef. Although she originally had sponsorship for her college fees her chef/restaurant sponsor has been negatively impacted by COVID-19, and is unfortunately no longer able to assist her. THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN! So many people want to assist others, but have no way of doing so - here is your opportunity!

Sino's fees for 2021 come to R20 100.00 in total (approximately R1500 per month, as well as a provision for R800 per semester for textbook materials). She has had registration fees and the first two months of the year paid, but she has R16 400.00 (Sixteen Thousand Four Hundred Rand) outstanding - that's just under US$1200 or £840. Sino needs these fees covered ASAP as she has to write exams from the 28th of May 2021, and she wont be able to write the exams without these fees.

Sino has very difficult home circumstances but this hasn't stopped her from studying and working really hard! We are hoping to raise enough funds to not only cover Sino's college fees, but also her transport costs (R25 a day), and small monthly stipend which would cover data & airtime, sanitary products, and basic needs (R250-R500 per month). If there is anything extra, she hopes to cover her brother's high-school transport costs.

Due to her home circumstances, she has asked that these funds raised be paid to her college, and that any excess be managed by myself (Amelia Rawhani-Mosalakae aka Amy). If you are unable to contribute financially, Sino has asked for assistance with the following items :

• Panties small or medium
• Toiletries
• Hair food
• Pads
• Winter Clothes

In her own words, Sino says :

My name is Sinombuso Githuka. I am a young woman of 19 years who is passionate about cooking. I started Hospitality Studies in grade 10 and have since fallen in love with food. By my matric year I was already head chef at school and graduated top of my class. I have cooked for a few private culinary institutions to apply but was discouraged by the fees despite being accepted. I am currently doing a diploma in hospitality and catering at Gauteng City College, a private TVET. My previous sponsor was forced stop funding me due to his restaurant's cash flow problems as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. I am now struggling to support myself as I cannot afford the transport allowance, textbooks and tuition fees which are attached below. I am a discipled hard working woman of high principles. I am only short of financial resources to reach greatness. Please help me.
