UNDERWEAR DRIVE FOR ABUSED WOMEN

• A friend raped me when I was 16 years old. We'd been at the same party earlier in the night.

• He raped me and allowed the other men to do so.

• As he dropped me home the next morning; he was laughing as he said, "have a nice life" when I got out of his car.

• The only thing that I wake up to every day is not letting my experience define me. 

These are all parts of someone's story.

Our HOUSE OF RESTORATION in West-Krugersdorp is a safe haven and a place of empowerment for destitute, vulnerable and abused women and their children. They all have one desire in common: To let go of their past and build a better future – for themselves, and for their children.

More often than not some kind of sexual abuse is part of our beneficiaries' stories. They often arrive by us deeply traumatized, covered in bruises, with torn clothes.

We value and respect all people and it is important to us to be able to support these women with clean, fresh, and NEW underwear.
