ABOUT
Due to previous COVID restrictions, we couldn't host our screening of UPRIZE. We revisit this film as we reopen our doors once again on the 4th of September. UPRIZE is a retelling of the events of June 16 1976. The film explores the political and social landscape of the 70s leading to the protests of that fatal day of June 16. UPRIZE features in-depth interviews with various participants of the resistance movement as well rare and unseen archive footage from the '70s.
