ABOUT
Two talented multi-instrumentalists perform original music derived from the San people in Southern Africa. Dave Reynolds and Pops Mohamed perform on the Kora (African Harp), Kalimba (thumb piano), the Khoisan mouthbow, Paraguayan harp, steelpans, classical guitar and 10 string harp-guitar. They tell some stories from the San people and a little about their experience of working with the First People.
The musicians recorded the soundtrack for an award-winning documentary called “Sundance!” by Richard Wicksteed, which follows the rituals and dance ceremonies of the San People from Botswana and Namibia.
