WHAT TO EXPECT

Secret Sunrise sessions encompass the facets of many of the best practices, from meditation, breath work, movement, mindfulness and dance. Our sessions aim to be as inclusive and accessible as possible. You can expect an hour long guided dance through a series of music of all genres. Each session is unique, often curated according to a theme that attendees come together to celebrate and are even welcome to dress up to. People often show up wearing tutu’s, bright clothing or those stranger items you can find at the back of your closet that don’t quite match with anything else. We welcome all bodies, ages and fitness levels, backgrounds and creeds. Our aim is to be fully accessible. Hey, how else would we change the world for the better together?

After the Secret Sunrise Session, why not linger longer at the picturesque Elgin Vintners wine farm. There is an array of things to do, and their *Refresh Renew Restore* programme offers something for everyone. Enjoy a hearty breakfast on the sandstone stoep of the Country House, overlooking the spectacular gardens with its mountainous backdrop. Breakfast is served Wednesdays to Sundays from 08h30 to 11h30. The Country House also currently houses an art exhibition titled SPRINGING by seasoned artist Janet Ranson. This exhibition is inspired by nature, orchards and a love of gardening. 10% of all proceeds are donated to the Grabouw Animal Welfare Society. Or why not spoil yourself with a beauty or body treatment in their Pamper Room? Indulge in a luxurious full body massage or opt for a relaxing facial treatment in which only probiotic and organic ESSE products are used.

The Elgin Vintners Tasting Room will also be open for wine tasting, as well as their delectable cheese and charcuterie platters and wood-fired pizzas. It is the ideal opportunity to maximise your time at Elgin Vintners after the Secret Sunrise to explore the farm and get a bite to eat. Or better yet, book a picnic basket for you and a friend, and laze on the sprawling lawns under ancient tulip trees. 

Make the most of your visit and stay for the weekend in the 4-Star Elgin Vintners Country House – breakfast and a complimentary wine tasting are included in your stay. Each suite is luxuriously appointed with all the modern amenities and en-suite bathrooms. And with October being the second month of Spring, you might want to dip your toes into the azure water of their swimming pool or laze on the deck chairs with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in hand. They are currently offering a lovely Pamper & Stay package which includes a bottle of Belle Amie Rosé and a beauty treatment.
