STREET FASHION FESTIVAL
Celebrating life!
Join us in connecting with and showcasing the amazing creativity & talent of our local ‘Deep South’ community!
Doing our part, starting where we can, to uplift and reignite our own community!
Amidst the background and current experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us have been negatively impacted in some way or another. We are hoping to, where we can, re-invigorate, ignite & inspire our local community – putting our ‘own valley’ back on the map by showing off our local talent – offering to uplift and connect the community through re-building confidence, financial opportunities and offering our artists the exposure they deserve!
This will be the official launch of the F.L.Y (First Love Yourself) designer collection, as well as displays of local, up and coming designers and their uniquely inspiring and inclusive clothing designs.
We aim to encourage and assist our community in ‘re-imagining’ themselves, empowering them to re-engage and re introduce themselves into post lockdown society with confidence.
Thus we have decided to show our talented designers in a festive manner... Think live music, fantastic entertainment, flamboyant costumes and all round "Carnivale" vibes!
Date: Friday 3 November 4pm - 9:30pm
Venue: The deliciously boujee Deep South Eatery link in Glencairn
Two ticket options are available:
• R320 – Entry, 1 comp meal & a drink, live music & entertainment, and the fashion show!
• R180 – A simple entry ticket for those who would just like to watch the fashion show and live entertainment.
• FREE ENTRY FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OLD.
This is a nonprofit event and a passion project. A lot of our personal time, energy and money is going into realizing the vision of a unique, authentic and festive event. All ticket sales will go towards paying for the necessary event equipment and live entertainment.
All COVID-19 protocols will be in place.
