BUBU influencer Campaign and Awards
The priority of the BUBU Influence campaign is to create a positive mindset towards Ugandan made products (goods and services) with a view to establish a critical domestic market for local manufacturers and service providers. With a critical domestic market, it is expected that local producers of the BUBU priority products will become sufficiently competitive to penetrate more in regional and international markets.
This initiative was launched on the 12th of August 2021 by the Hon. Minister of State for Trade during the launch of the BUBU Fashion and Billboard awards.
The BUBU influencer campaign will involve major components which will include the use of influencers to promote brands and create awareness of a variety of products in Uganda and secondly training and sensitizing the public about the BUBU policy detail about its benefit and the need for their involvement.
