ABOUT

Dear WiPSA friends

Come Celebrate Women’s month with fellow women in philanthropy by exploring how we can build trust-based partnerships in our work with funders.

Trust is an essential element of any successful partnership yet so many partnerships between funders and their implementation partners are hampered by a lack of trust. How do we build and grow this trust to ensure that we create equitable trust-based partnerships to create true impact in our work?

WIPSA invites our members to an interactive 3 hour in person workshop looking at how to practise and participate in trust-based philanthropy partnerships. The workshop will offer a think-tank space with colleagues sharing experiences and co-visioning what trust-based funder partnerships in the philanthropy sector might look like.

The workshop programme will include:

  • The key elements of trust-based partnerships
  • The challenges of building trust in philanthropy partnerships and how to overcome them
  • Practical tools to assist in building on existing funding relationships through generating shared understanding and insight.
