WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?

Suits & Sneakers, in partnership with Sasfin, would like to invite you to a business growth and networking event called Ignite. We have invited the infamous Rich Mulholland to speak on the night, and there will also be a chance for attendees to network with each other on the night. In this practical and entertaining talk, Rich will attempt to change the way you think about storytelling and selling completely, giving you new tools purpose built for the world we live in today.

More than anything, we want to ignite a conversation around growth, and we also want to facilitate human connection which was sorely missed during the pandemic. We believe in gathering like-minded individuals who want to grow personally and professionally.

Ignite will be taking place on the evening of Tuesday, 8 November 2022 at The Tryst and there is no cost to attend. We will be recording the event on the night and airing the reply a day or two after the event.

WHY DID WE PUT THIS EVENT TOGETHER?

The last few years have been particularly tough for the average South African. Before COVID, the South African economy was stuttering along and then the pandemic, along with the various lockdowns, hurt the economy even more while dramatically impacted the way we all do business.

As we all work toward picking up the pieces, we thought this event could potentially inspire those who attend to be catalysts for growth in South Africa. When we conceptualised this event, we immediately reached out to Sasfin to help us bring it to life and they jumped on board. We love collaborations between big and small business, and we hope you take the time to join us.

WHO IS RICH MULHOLLAND AND WHAT WILL HE BE SPEAKING ABOUT?

Having spoken in over 30 countries on six continents, rock and roll roadie turned entrepreneur Rich Mulholland knows first-hand the impact that memorable presentations can make. That's why he works with executives and speakers around the world, helping them deliver unforgettable presentations that activate audiences and generate income. He's the founder of presentation powerhouse Missing Link and has written three books; Legacide, Boredom Slayer, and his latest; Here Be Dragons.

At Ignite, Rich will be speaking about the primary reason that sales people fail. Rich believes they spend too much time telling customers their story and not enough time selling them a new story in which they play a part. This is true for leadership communication too. In this practical and entertaining talk, Rich will attempt to change the way you think about storytelling and selling completely, giving you new tools purpose built for the world we live in today.
