MY SON'S CHALLENGER EXPEDITION TRIP

About

My son has an opportunity to be part of a Challenger Expedition that will see him and his peers go to Canary Islands in Spain for 14 days.

This opportunity is one that his father and I will not be able to give to him, the expedition catalyses holistic personal development and gives teenagers the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, self-awareness and resilience skills,

Community development and conservation, Communication, Cultural sensitivity, Climate change, Teamwork, Positive mental health and Inclusivity.

As a teenager, he will have an opportunity to develop life skills and increase his personal growth and development.

‘Core foundations’, ‘Ready for today’s world’ and ‘Global perspectives’ are the cornerstones of the expedition itineraries.

My son is very excited about the trip, however, my husband and i do not have the funds to pay for him as he lost his job in 2020 and currently still trying to make ends meet, by doing projects here and there, the projects bring in money but not enough to afford us the opportunity to give our son this great experience.

we would appreciate any donations in cash to cover the cost of the trip, visas, medical insurance, insurance for his belongings, gears for expedition and pocket money.
