We are excited to invite you to the collaboration of art, wine and coffee. The Coffee Magazine Award for Best New Cafe and Best Cafe Design. Sofia Eatery, is hosting a night in collaboration with artist and art director Jacques Mollentze, curated by Christine Bence (Designer).

Gerardo & Lorena, a brother and sister duo, the brains behind this oasis of beauty and flavour, want to introduce art inspired by their life before the cafe. Jacques Mollentze was briefed to create a body of work inspired by their life in Kenya. Jacques, has taken this idea and is producing water colour, oil and ceramic works based on the concept of bringing two worlds together Kenya and Cape Town. 

Expect to see the collision of traditional African art and a unique take on tropical landscapes.

Experience this collaboration on the 28th of March 2023, at Sofia Eatery. Your ticket includes a glass of wine or a coffee upon arrival and there will be finger foods throughout the evening.
