Enjoy a light brunch at the beautiful Belvidere Manor before settling in for a range of fascinating stories from Charles Guy Gordon being besieged by the mighty Mahdi in Khartoum to a young George Bunting accompanied by a Zulu chaperone during a 200 km horse ride to school, and tales of Jock of the Bushveld and Harry Wolhuter's famous encounter with an angry, rampaging lion.


Rob has been a professional speaker and storyteller since 2001, honing his unique talent for storytelling after working with the late, great David Rattray on Anglo Zulu battlefields. He believes that understanding and acknowledging our powerful history is essential for participating in Africa's future.
