ABOUT
Ocean Innovation Africa will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from the 20-22 February 2024.
Ocean Innovation Africa is a platform that showcases African ocean-impact initiatives and brings together international entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, businesses and leaders working to support sustainable, equitable growth of the African ocean economy
At Ocean Innovation Africa we believe that innovations led by science, technology, and entrepreneurship will provide the necessary leverage points to harness blue economy growth for socio-economic and environmental gain in Africa, at the pace and scale needed to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our goal is to inspire more ocean-conscious entrepreneurs, entice more private capital investment in the African blue economy, and catalyse collaboration on shared goals across ocean-impact fields.
Ocean Innovation Africa is an action-oriented event, with mornings dedicated to inspiration and solution showcases, and afternoons to outcomes-based workshops aimed at providing a platform for collaboration in and between key sectors.
Conference sessions will be held from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd of February with networking activities, study tours, site visits and more scheduled before and after the main event.
