Join us for an afternoon of magic for the whole family with the performance of Worlds Away by The Cirk company, in support of Salvazione School and in celebration of all mothers on this special day.

Worlds Away takes you on an adventure as a young star makes his way across the skies in search of his sparkle. Follow the courageous little star through fantastical lands, tempestuous oceans and fiery fortresses.

Worlds Away explores the themes of courage, belonging, love, and purpose. These themes are explored through a story packed with thrilling aerial acts, electrifying dance numbers, and acrobat feats.

We hope to see many of you!

“This is The Cirk, which means the performance is utterly unique. Not much action takes place on the actual stage, rather the performers are suspended above you, creating riveting acrobatic displays.”

ABOUT SALVAZIONE PRIMARY SCHOOL

We believe that every child deserves quality education to unlock their full potential.

Salvazione Primary School opened its doors in 1991 to accommodate underprivileged children from the Slovo Park informal settlement south of Johannesburg who were unable to attend the local schools due to their dire financial and personal circumstances.

There are currently 191 learners from Grade R to Grade 7 and Salvazione is dedicated to nurturing and developing the potential of every child. The school offers a balanced curriculum, is well-governed and its finances are prudently managed. The school is supported by the dedication and efforts of staff and parents of The Ridge School, Auckland Park Preparatory School and St Katharine's School.

The situation at Salvazione is unique in that only around 5% of the school’s income is raised from school fees, with the majority coming from donors such as you. It's our responsibility to ensure that the children who are entrusted to our care receive a quality education in safe surroundings. Various alumni of Salvazione have now gone on to successful secondary and tertiary study and can attest to the positive impact Salvazione had on their education and outlook on life.
