The Kalumbila Challenge 2024

ABOUT

This year we offer 4 disciplines.

The Challenge is on 11th May 2024. The events of the day start at 07h00:

Seven-A-Side-Football Tournament

·        Squads of up to twelve players, including a Team Manager and an Assistant Team Manager (both can also play).

·        Compete for the prestigious Kalumbila Trophy.

·        Strictly NO PROFESSIONAL players are allowed.

·        Only thirty teams may enter, so hurry to get your team entered to avoid disappointment!

·        Entry Fee: K600 per team.

Running

·        5Km or 10km routes.

·        Gender and various age categories.

·        Entry Fee K100 each.

Cycling

·        20Km or 55km routes.

·        Gender and various age categories.

·        Entry Fee K300 each.

·        All Cyclists must wear a helmet. No Helmet - No Ride!

Chess

·        A tournament for the intellectuals and chess-lovers alike, in recognition that brain power is as important as physical strength!

·        Junior (Under 18) and Senior (18 and over) categories. With two age categories in the Junior group.

·        Entry Fee: K10 for juniors and K20 for seniors.

Entries will CLOSE on 30th April 2024. All entries must be made here. No late entries will be accepted, and no entries can be accepted by any member of the organising committee.

Important: If you wish to cancel or change a booking in any way, you will need to cancel your existing booking and enter a completely new booking with the new details. You will receive a refund from Quicket for your cancellation, minus an administration fee.

Please note that if you do not immediately receive your tickets after your mobile money purchase please expect a delay of up to an hour. There is an occasional delay in ticket issuing with purchases made via mobile money which includes Airtel and MTN.

If you do not receive your tickets after an hour please send an email with a screenshot of the SMS showing the deduction to [email protected].
