Watch the beautiful east coast sunrise and join us on this easy beach, promenade & forest stroll in the heart of Umhlanga!
We will visit the famous Whale Bone Pier, the Umhlanga Lighthouse, Umhlanga Lagoon (boardwalk and the lower part of the Hawaan Forest) and of course the one and only Forest Cafe....
Time: 5.15am for 5.30am
Place: Durban View Main Carpark
Distance: appr. 6km
Duration: 3 hours
This is an easy walk (Promenade, lagoon forest and beach sand)
Cost: FREE (SENIOR CITIZENS ONLY!)

What to bring: walking shoes,snacks, water or cold drinks, plus a backpack to carry all that. cash for coffee/breakfast at Forest Coffee
Kids and well behaved pooches welcome!
Please note that dogs are allowed on the promenade (on leash) but not in the nature reserve!
