Canfield's New Orleans influenced solo show, which has been compared to those of Seasick Steve, Shakey Graves, and C.W. Stoneking, strikes with the impact of a full band.

Delivering a great experience everywhere from small audiences at house parties and private concerts, to pubs, barrooms, and music venues, to major festival stages in front of thousands!

USA-born Canfield has played with some of the biggest names in rock and roll, from Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley through to Paul Simon, Billy Idol and Bob Dylan. He’s done the Grammy’s, the Oscars and busked in the streets of New York City. In South Africa he’s worked with everyone from Johnny Clegg to Boer-musik legends Radio Kalahari Orkes to The Black Cat Bones. He was recently a featured player touring with soulful singer/songwriter Gerald Clark. His current duo project with Nicole Theron is selling out venues wherever they perform, and he's a part of the new South African 'supergroup', The Breeze, with Robin Auld and Rob Nagle.

2017 saw Canfield perform at a number of major festivals in South Africa, STRAB in Mozambique and Africa’s biggest festival, Bushfire in Swaziland. in 2018 he added Up the Creek to his busy festival schedule, and 2019 was shaping up to provide many more performance opportunities. Then Covid!! But he's back and better than ever!!!

The Shoreline Songs/Robin Auld-produced album, "Born to Boogie' was released in April of 2019. The project is available on all major streaming services.

"Put me in front of an audience and I promise to deliver an experience that will entertain, uplift, and reward folks with something that will leave them feeling better than they did when they came through the door."
