Hive Colab is proud to announce the much-anticipated 6th edition of the SWARM Summit, a premier gathering that brings together visionaries, disruptors, and thought leaders at the forefront of the startup ecosystem. Scheduled for April 25-26, 2024, at Four Points By Sheraton Kampala, this year's summit, themed "The Future is Now: Emerging Trends Shaping Startup Ecosystems," promises an immersive exploration of the trends reshaping the entrepreneurial landscape.

What are the Key Objectives?

Explore and dissect emerging trends that are shaping the future of startup ecosystems. Share key lessons and insights from established entrepreneurs and startups. Facilitate networking and collaboration opportunities for startups, investors, and industry players. Celebrate the achievements of the third cohort of startups from the Youth Startup Academy Uganda (YSAU).

As a highlight, the summit will host the graduation ceremony of the third cohort of startups from the Youth Startup Academy Uganda (YSAU). The Youth Start Academy Uganda (YSAU) is a project funded by

the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups Korea (MSS) and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and Hive Colab in partnership with the National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U).

The overall project objective is to contribute to increasing youth employment in Uganda. The project aims to improve the startup ecosystem for young entrepreneurs in Uganda which will drive innovation and job creation in the region. This initiative has been a catalyst for the growth of more than 700 young entrepreneurs, catalyzing growth and innovation across the country.

Engaging keynote addresses from industry leaders on the current state and future direction of startup ecosystems. Insightful panel discussions and fireside chats featuring experts and entrepreneurs discussing key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the startup landscape. An update on the journey and Graduation ceremony of the Youth Startup Academy Uganda. Breakout sessions and masterclasses

covering diverse topics such as funding strategies, technological advancements, and sustainable entrepreneurship in the digital age.
