We are so thrilled to announce that our next live conversation session will be taking place this month on the 30th of March!
Our goal is to foster a space that gives rise to conversations that hold us, as young creatives, accountable to the industry progression that we would like to see. How can we be more conscious of the role we play despite the challenges? And ultimately, how do we create opportunities for ourselves?

Ntate Phakela is a 24-year old, Johannesburg based Multi-disciplinary artist passionate about upholding African existence in the work that he produces across different mediums of creative expression. Originally a filmmaker, Ntate blended his storytelling skills with his ever-growing love for African digital and fine art, bringing out the perfect marriage of his two passions.
Ntate was born and raised in Vosloorus, a township in the South-east of Johannesburg. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Television and is currently studying a specialization course in Modern Art and Ideas at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Ntate has co-published two photography books in Berlin and London respectively and showcased his films at various national Festivals.
