Elkanah House is proud to announce its upcoming production of the iconic musical "Little Shop of Horrors," presented by our talented high school students. From April 24th to April 30th, audiences will have the opportunity to witness the magic of this beloved show at the Elkanah House Auditorium.
Set in the backdrop of a flower shop on Skid Row, "Little Shop of Horrors" tells the story of Seymour, a down-on-his-luck floral assistant, whose life takes a wild turn when he discovers a mysterious and carnivorous plant, Audrey II, that craves more than just water and sunlight. As the plant grows and gains notoriety, Seymour must grapple with the consequences of his newfound fame and the plant's insatiable appetite.
Directed by our Performing Arts department, headed up by Gilmour Gordon and performed entirely by Elkanah House high school students, this production showcases the incredible talent and dedication of our young performers. From captivating vocals to dynamic choreography, audiences can expect a riveting and unforgettable theatrical experience.
Adding to the ambiance and drama of the production is the live orchestra, comprised entirely of Elkanah House high school students. Under the guidance of our talented music instructors, the orchestra will bring the show's iconic score to life, enhancing the audience's immersion into the world of "Little Shop of Horrors."
