About Mark Fransman:
Mark Fransman is no stranger to acclaim, having been recognized with numerous awards throughout his illustrious career. As a composer, musician, and producer, Mark has garnered two South African Music Awards (SAMA), including the prestigious Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz in 2008.
With years of experience in musical theater and a reputation for groundbreaking solo performances, Mark continues to push the boundaries of jazz exploration. His recent album, "Introducing Sonik Citizen and Cape Tone," earned him the Mzantsi Jazz Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album in 2023.
