The much-anticipated Nelson Mandela University Brass Congress is set to reach its crescendo with an unforgettable concert featuring an ensemble of talented musicians, including renowned tubist Jarret McCourt, congress participants, and the Virtual-So Tuba/Euphonium Quartet.

Jarret McCourt, internationally acclaimed tubist and Associate Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, is poised to captivate audiences with a mesmerizing performance. McCourt will showcase his virtuosity with solo tuba works, including the technically demanding Caprice No. 24 by Niccolò Paganinni and an arrangement of Canzon Napolitana con Variazione (Napoli) by Herman Bellstedt, accompanied by the Quartet. Adding to the allure of the evening, the Virtual-So Quartet will present a diverse program featuring works by esteemed composers such as Gabrielli and Bach.
