Join Desirae Pillay of A Million Beautiful Pieces for a morning of laughter, tears, and friendship!

Many special needs mothers feel isolated and alone, and on Mother's Day that can feel so much more intense. We want mothers who parent children with special needs to be seen, known and valued. This is why we host a Mother's Day tea so you can embrace this celebration with other mothers like you. Desirae Pillay know first-hand what this is like, and that in community we find healing, strength and our own "normal".

Our Morning Programme will include:

• Welcome
• Ice Breaker
• Speaker Charmaine Manuella

(PhD candidate, practical theology. She has a passion for disability inclusion facilitation. Mother, lecturer, facilitator, children’s minister)

• Panel discussion session

(The panel of our PR facilitators and guests will be facilitated by Desirae in discussion about coming to terms with the diagnosis and how to navigate education,

therapies and self care)

• End

Guests are welcome to stay to fellowship thereafter. Drinks and light snacks will be provided. Book for yourself, OR for a special mother you know, OR sponsor a ticket for a mom. Price: R80 secures your booking (Please consider sponsoring mum who cannot afford this)
