Karakta film makeup, costume and Hair is an annual event where film magic comes to life! We bring together top tier makeup artists, costume designers, hairstylists, hair Brand, actors, and filmmakers in one epic space.
Originating in 2023 under the name E-NAKAZIBA, the initiative has grown into a key event, rebranded as KARAKTA, that celebrates the transformative power of film makeup and costume artistry in storytelling. For our third exhibition, we envision a dynamic two-day event that combines education, creativity, and industry collaboration.
Why we do it;
We believe in showcasing the incredible talent of Ugandan makeup artists and costume designers. We want to create a platform where they can shine and build amazing careers.
This year, we are taking it to next level
We are partnering with some of the most talented artists in the game to make this the biggest and best karakta yet. And guess what? we are dreaming big. We want to bring this amazing event to every corner of Af rica!
