ABOUT

This year, LASPNET has taken bold steps towards strengthening the sustainability of our organization. One of our landmark projects is the construction of our very own home, the “Legal Aid House,” set to rise on a one-acre piece of land in Nakawuka–Jjungo. This house will stand as a symbol of our commitment to expanding legal aid and justice for all.

As part of the fundraising drive to make this vision a reality, LASPNET will host the Access to Justice Run (A2J Run) under the powerful tagline: “Run4Justice.”

Why join the Run4Justice?

The A2J Run is expected to bring together over 5,000 participants from across society: Government representatives, Ministries and Agencies, Justice sector actors, Legal Aid Service Providers, private lawyers, civil society, the media, and the general public.

But this is more than just a run.

It’s a platform to:

  • Showcase the incredible work of legal aid and justice service providers.
  • Highlight the struggles faced by vulnerable and indigent persons in accessing justice.
  • Inspire change by rallying all justice actors to champion a people-centred justice system that leaves no Ugandan behind.

Together, let’s lace up, hit the road, and run not just for fitness but for justice, equality, and hope.

Join us. Run4Justice. Be the change.
