About Pause Conservations

Pause Conservations is a Ugandan non-profit working to restore biodiversity and reconnect communities with nature around Lake Victoria through education, storytelling, and sustainable travel.

Founded in 2019, the organisation inspires environmental stewardship among children by turning complex ecological issues into relatable stories, such as its flagship book series “Chali’s Adventures on Lake Victoria.”

Through school outreach, creative festivals, and community-driven initiatives, Pause Conservations nurtures a culture of environmental responsibility, empowering future generations to protect Uganda’s natural heritage and the ecosystems that sustain life.
