Legal Tech Conference : Theme: Artificial Intelligence , Blockchain and The Law

On 5^th March 2019, legal minds will converge with tech enthusiasts and innovators to discuss and confront the onslaught of emerging technologies and process readiness within the legal profession under the theme “Artificial Intelligence, blockchain and the Law”.

Some of the activities at the conference will include a legal tech pitch competition, which will challenge our software developers to work hand in hand with the legal practitioners to dialogue and develop solutions to address legal shortfalls in our midst. The pitch, which is Uganda’s first legal pitch competition will be held under the theme “Law meets Tech” and will foster productive dialogue between the two stakeholder communities.

The one-day conference will is scheduled to be held at the Kampala Serena Hotel between 10am and 8pm. It will attract indigenous and global stakeholders in the legal profession as well as business entrepreneurs, technology start-ups and enthusiasts and students.
