Marianne Thamm is a South African journalist, author and stand-up comedian. Currently working for the online journal, The Daily Maverick, she has also written several successful books. In 2016 she released the memoir, Hitler, Verwoerd, Mandela and me. She has published widely both locally and internationally. It was journalism that chose her and not the other way around.
