ABOUT
The idea behind the RX Radio Youth Music Festival is to bring the youth of Cape Town together in a six-hour festival from 11AM until 5PM. The performances will be primarily made up of youth acts, between the ages of 11 and 25, as well as some special/surprise guests.
This will be a great way to show off some of the young upcoming talent, including skits, magicians, DJs, comedians, singers and bands. As well as raising funds for RX Radio (a registered NPO), the festival hopes to create exposure for young, upcoming artists and feature some of the biggest names among South Africa's youth.
The main focus is on the youth and thus, as much planning, organising and marketing as possible has been done by RX Radio Young Reporters, who make up the core festival committee.
