Filmmakers and film enthusiasts from all over the Johannesburg, ZA area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. They draw a genre at Friday's kickoff, get given a character name, line and prop that must feature in their film, then they have 48 hours to make magic! 2 weeks later they get to watch it with friends, family and colleagues on Ster-Kinekor's BIG SCREEN at the Mall of Africa! The winning city film will go up against other films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2020 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2020 Short Film Corner.
