ABOUT

WHO WE SUPPORT

The Community Chest Unogwaja is all about hope and inspiration. Our two projects, Red Sock Friday and the Unogwaja Challenge, both aim to raise funds to help change the story in South Africa. We rely on active citizens who want to be the change they see. The spirit of Unogwaja is to overcome adversity despite one’s circumstances and to inspire others to do the same. We believe that together we can make sure nobody is left behind. You can find out more about our projects at www.shooops.com and www.unogwaja.com

Funds raised through our projects help to fulfill our objectives of providing equal access to education, community development, income-generation and health. The Community Chest Unogwaja supports various beneficiaries across the country, which in the past have included Unogwaja Langa Educational Project, Vukasebenze Homeless Shelter in Cradock, Lebone Village and Umsilinga Primary. Since 2011 we have raised in excess of R6-million for our cause.
