ABOUT
This three-day training event, Trauma Competent Caregiving, increases competency in understanding the impact of trauma on our lives and looks at adverse childhood experiences as well as the sensitivity in caring for children with a traumatic history.
The content is geared toward the needs of helping professionals who specialize in trauma care or lead teams of professionals, as well as parents & full-time caregivers of children experiencing the effects of trauma.
It provides in-depth examination of all nine modules of trauma content – including assessment tools and care strategies for use in the field, examines real-life case studies, and allows for extended time in small group learning activities.
