DJ Brian Bergman will play his magick for us on Clifton 1st Beach, Friday 18.00 to 20.00 on 5th of November 2021.
Ecstatic dance has been practiced throughout human history. It only stands to reason that manifesting during a New Moon would have a strong impact. This phase brings the energy of new beginnings and creativity. It is a gift from the Universe given to us to assist in bringing in new opportunities.
Our ecstatic dance in nature aligns with the idea of Khoisan transformation ritual - a time of new or full moon, when community gathers together to manifest the beginning of a new cycle of life, in movement and music.
We fused the ancient African tradition with European re-discovery of the immense psychological and transformational impact of ecstatic dance - a form of dance without a need to follow any specific steps, but the inner movement of your body. The dance, led by an ecstatic dance DJ, serves as a form of meditation, helping people to harmonize their emotions, embody the power of natural beauty, cope with stress and to attain serenity. Dancing in headphones allows to immerse yourself in music and focus on reflecting the harmony of music and nature inside your body.

One week before the dance we announce the DJ and exact location. Most frequently we dance on Clifton 1st Beach, Cape Town. How to stay aligned with weather, location and DJs:

Walk to the very right if facing the ocean on Clifton 1st Beach. Bring warm clothes and water. Be conscious. Move. Move. Move yourself into trance.
