Learn to think like a Coder & explore fundamental coding concepts with Think Ahead’s Coding Extra Mural Programme

GET STARTED WITH CODE 1

BEGINNER:

4 FEBRUARY 2019

Session 1: Introduction to the language of code & sequencing 

Students will get hands-on with sequencing. Identify & understand how we use sequences on a daily basis

11 FEBRUARY 2019

 Session 2: Creating sequences 

Students create their own sequences and learn the importance of sequencing correctly. 

18 FEBRUARY 2019

 Session 3: Flexible sequencing

Discover how some sequences can be put in any order and will still achieve the same result 

INTERMEDIATE:

25 FEBRUARY 2019

 Session 4: Loops

We introduce loops and learn what we can do with them and understand why they are important in coding.

 Session 1: Exploring Shapes with Robotics 

Come and put into practice what you have learned with GET STARTED WITH CODE 1 with Sphero Robotics and learn how to programme shapes using the Draw Canvas. 

INTERMEDIATE

11 MARCH 2019

 Session 2: Art & Robotics come together 

Take it one step further and create your own works of art using paint and the Draw Canvas on the Sphero Edu app.
