Legal Aid Service Providers Network (LASPNET)
About
LASPNET is national member based Non-Government Organization that was established in 2004 to provide strategic linkages and a collaborative platform for legal aid service providers (LASPs) in Uganda in order to maintain a common front to relevantly interface with Justice Law & Order (JLOS) on Access to Justice and Rule of Law issues. Currently, LASPNET has 60 LASPs spread across 83 districts in the country, 13 honorary members including 5 Justices of the High Court, Founder members, JLOS Stakeholders and 18 Individual Associate Members.
The Network’s vision is “A Free and Just Society” whereas its mission is; “To provide a platform for effective networking and collaboration to enhance Legal aid service delivery and Access to Justice for the most vulnerable and marginalized people.”
